Comprising Crosby's unit of government are: Mayor James Bateaste, Mayor Protempore Alderman Joseph Hall, Alderman Robert Murray, Alderwoman Mae Bell Griffin, Alderwoman Pamela Henley, and Alderwoman Mary Griffin. The Town Clerk is Sheletha Jones.
Regular town meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month in the Town Hall at 7:00pm. In months where a holiday falls on the first Tuesday, meetings are held the following day. Regular meetings are open to the public. Citizens who wish to be recognized during a meeting should contact the town clerk prior to the meeting date to be added to the agenda.
Also housed in the Town Hall is the Crosby Police Department. Chief Lessie Joe Hampton and Assistant Chief Otis Dyer are constantly on duty to protect and serve the residents of Crosby. Chief Hampton also serves as a sheriff's deputy for the Amite County Sheriff's Department. Officer Dyer is also a deputy for the Franklin County Sheriff's Department and an agent for the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
